About the San Diego Beach Neighborhood & Coastal Tour:

The San Diego Beach Neighborhood & Coastal Tour shines a light on the history and the culture of San Diego’s most beloved beaches and coastal haunts, from charming Crystal Pier to otherworldly Torrey Pine and La Jolla Shores. Breathe in the Pacific Ocean’s refreshing breeze and stunning views of the horizon. Tour the coastal wonders of San Diego with us, which might just make you a beach bum for life!

  • Explore the best beaches – Our day trip and coastal tours of San Diego bring you to the best stretches of sun and surf, including Pacific Beach, Mission Beach, Mission Bay, Ocean Beach, and La Jolla Cove. At every stop, you’ll discover local points of interest and rich histories as unique and the varied coastline itself.
  • Wander the natural wonders – San Diego has nearly 80 miles of beaches.  You may choose to check out the natural wonder of Torrey Pines State Reserve and Torrey Pines State Beach, a 2,000-acre coastal park that makes up one of the largest stretches of wild land on the coast. Take in a slice of San Diego life exploring the trails. The picturesque Torrey Pines State Beach is a favorite among local surfers. Or explore Sunset Cliffs Natural Park on the western shoreline of the Point Loma peninsula. Take in the amazing views and you might even see the occasional cliff diver.
  • Comb the seven caves – At La Jolla Cove, you’ll learn the history of the seven caves, one of which hides a secret passageway carved out to spirit sailors into town. If fortune—and the sun—smiles, you’ll get to make the acquaintance of the sea lions for whom the cove is a favorite lounging spot.
  • Shop beachside villages – From Carlsbad Village, to Del Mar Village, or Cedro’s Ave in Solana Beach, there is so much to explore at each one.  Their history is inspirational, and the boutiques are completely local…get to know the seaside villages the way only locals do.
  • Soak up the vibes (and the best-kept secrets) – In Pacific Beach, you’ll soak up the vibes of an authentic Southern California beach neighborhood as you stroll the expansive boardwalk. Watch surfers shoot the breeze and see where the locals head for their California-style burritos.
  • Drink and snack by the sea – Nothing works up an appetite like a walking tour, so refuel with local bites and drinks along the way, like fresh fish tacos or a sample flight at a beachside brewery.

Tours can be booked for private groups of 10 or more guests. The Coastal Beach is also one of top team building activities to do in San Diego . That means that you’ll work with our professional planners to create the best San Diego beach tour for you! Contact us to discuss.
